This was our second action project in endurance. We learned about many different people’s struggles in history. We read Night by Elie Wiesel and discussed what it meant for him to endure. We thought about what endurance means for each individual person and how different people can endure different experiences. This project really pushed my understanding of what it means to be an artist and the accessibility of making art. I felt like I grew a lot. I began to understand what I want being an artist to mean to me. Art is your own personal journey and what you decide to do with that is difficult. Something that really interested me when working was how expensive digital art can be. Procreate is one of the most popular art apps. There are tons of tutorials online and learning it is very accessible. Procreate is also only available for apple devices which makes it very inaccessible.
